Report
of 2006 exhibition
In the name of
God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
اين السبب المتصل بين الارض و السماء
September 4th 2006 was the most
important Monday for youth group of Islamic Research &
Information Center (IRIC) because of the third “The
Global Hope for Global Peace Exhibition”. Melal Cultural
Center (in Qeytariyeh Park), Tehran Municipality’s
organization of arts and culture and National
Globalization Studies of Iran participated in holding
this program beside the Iranian non-profit NGO, IRIC.
The Global Hope for Global Peace (GHGP) is the annual
conceptual exhibition of IRIC which has been held in
2004 and 2005. This year’s GHGP was the third one and
held in 8 days from 17:30 to 20:30 and included 4 main
stands, each of which took about 20 minutes, receiving
20 as follows:
1.
A world in turbulence
2.
Everyone is awaiting HIM
3.
A globalizing world
4.
As bright as the moonlight
After the last stand the Q&A managed by
renown faculty members of Iranian universities was a
stand for any probable question of the audience. In
addition, an interesting section with meaningful games
and stories for children named “KIDS ZONE” was setup and
a reason of tranquility for the parents who visited the
exhibition. An evaluation form had been prepared and was
dedicated to the visitors for future programs and
exhibitions.
Nearly all of the visitors understood,
remembered and felt what the exhibition was trying to
say. By the way, the 3rd GHGP is only a
memory now but the effects of it that everyone saw, will
be never forgotten. Tears were the common visible
feelings that most of the visitors had while leaving the
exhibition especially after the last stand where our
forgotten father was being introduced. Saying HELLO to
the ONE who is always with us and waiting for HIM in a
proactive manner was the issue of the 4th
stand. The tours finished with a bookmark conveying:
HOPE IS ALIVE, ACT AND
AWAIT, BRIGHTEN OUR LIVES WITH HIS LOVE!
ü
Qeytariyeh Park had never faced such a
conceptual exhibition till then. There were too many
questions about the pictures, material, decorations and
cooperation of this friendly group which was actively
increasing after any second.
ü
38 tours were handled during the 3rd
GHGP in this year’s exhibition.
ü
About 600 entered the first stand but
because of many reasons did not continue on. More than
480 continued the exhibition to second and third stands
but only about 350 persons completely toured the
exhibition.
ü
Everyday up to 5 tours
visited the exhibition with an average of 12 to 14
people in them. It has to be mentioned that in some
tours we were not able to receive more participants for
limitations in space and actually most of them were
really shocked.
ü
Most of the visitors
emphasized that they had never seen such a program
before.
ü
Always significant
ovations made by foreigners except few Iranians and also
there were a lot of suggestions and comments on any
issue which is a characteristic of a LIVE IRANIAN.
ü
Almost all foreigners
asked for the package of articles of the exhibition.
There were also many who wanted the Farsi translations
of the contents for their own researches and activities.
ü
Only 70% of evaluation
forms were filled out completely and most of them are
filled without any attention.
