The
allegation that cultural diversity is real and includes very
aggressive and malicious beliefs that can neither be
accommodated nor celebrated demonstrate the intolerance to not
only Islam, Muslims and the Muslim Brotherhood but to anything
remotely different to the American and West's belief.

Time has come to give peace a chance, give Islam a
chance and stop using it as a scapegoat every time
there is an attack. |
Assertations that Islam is
based on terrorism and flourished through aggression indicate
the narrow-mindedness and real intent on defaming the peaceful
religion. Quotes such as "To think that all religious leaders
are peaceful like Jesus is to completely ignore cultural
diversity" illustrating another example for in fact one of
Islam's major principles regulates that to be a good Muslim one
must respect and believe in the divine religions, their
messengers and their holy texts
To oppose Islam
and The Brotherhood exposes the extent of unlimited hatred
revealing both Islamophobic and Ikhwaniphobic tendencies.
Muslims and Muslim organizations adamantly condemn such violence
against both Muslims and non-Muslims.
Extremists kill
fellow Muslims also in many Muslim countries because they were
of a different sect, clan, ethnicity or political belief, or
were innocent worshippers the most recent includes the bombings
in Pakistan which in fact was condemned and slammed by all
Muslim scholars and intellectuals, movements including the
Muslim Brotherhood.
In fact
worldwide interaction of religions, creeds and cultures is what
has made the world flourish with its multiculturalism and using
such attacks as the September 11 as an excuse to call all
Muslims as terrorists is not only unfair but ignorant. Any
effort to embrace the Muslim citizens would definitely help
reject the nonsense of Us versus Them and see everyone living in
this or any Western country proving that there is no war or act
of conquest at play. IF this is attained it could be ascertained
that there is a difference between Muslims and those
characterized as Islamic extremists.
In all reality
the 9/11 incident has affected each and every individual
including Muslims, who are our brothers and sisters in humanity.
Muslims remember the pain of losing family members, friends or
loved ones; they understand the worth of human life emphasized
in Islam.
There is no
such thing as militant Islam any more than there is militant
Christianity, Judaism. However there are extremist Muslims,
Christians, and Jews all who violate the teachings of their own
faiths which are not militant.
Building a
Mosque and Islamic Cultural centre close to Ground Zero or any
other area in the U.S. or Europe is not a disgrace to the
memory of people who died in the tragic 9/11 attack it is an
effort by all to continue in the path of life in through
peaceful and tolerant measures.
Time has come
to give peace a chance, give Islam a chance and stop using it as
a scapegoat every time there is an attack or act of violence
perpetrated solely by conspirators.
