Muslim Awards for Excellence is an organization with a vision ‘To elevate the brand of Muslims in Canada by recognizing & motivating high achievement, positive and productive contributions to society by Muslims in Canada.’ In an effort to recognize, celebrate, encourage and motivate such achievements, commitment to excellence and service.

Five main component of MAX: Gala A sophisticated annual high-end gala attended by the community, guests, and media, where the announcement of award and scholarship winners takes place. A night of celebration that weaves together the incredible journeys of people that are committed to excellence, service and charity. Awards Professional Awards recognizing selected significant achievements and contributions to Canadian society by professionals for exemplary achievement in a professional domain or community initiative. MAX Lifetime Achievement Awards recognizing significant life time contributions made to the Muslim community in Canada. Scholarships to recognize and reward high school and university students who have excelled in academics and combined this achievement with outstanding contributions to their school and community.

Mentors MAX seeks to catalyze excellence amongst Canadian Muslims through its early career mentorship program, MAX Mentors. The aim of this initiative is to help a new generation of Canadian-Muslims break the glass ceiling and build a culture of excellence in our community. Women in Leadership A program with a mission to celebrate, inspire and cultivate leadership excellence of Women in Canadian-Muslim Community.
