Following the recent publication of his book What Is A Madrasa? (Edinburgh University Press, 2015), Professor Ebrahim Moosa of the University of Notre Dame will be visiting Ashford & Staines Community Center to discuss the nature and role of Islamic education in the modern world and the implications for Muslims in the West.

Dr. Abdulaziz Brown from the Cambridge Muslim College will respond to his talk with reference to the current situation and future of Islamic education in the UK.

It is an enlightening discussion exploring functional Islamic Education and addressing the challenges faced by Muslim institutes, with perspectives from a British context. 

This discussion will be of particular importance and relevance to parents, teachers, educators, Islamic schools & institutes.
