Data from the Pew Research Center has revealed the youngest and oldest religious groups in the United States. U.S. Muslims in the survey have a median age of 33 and about four-in-ten Muslim adults in the U.S. are under the age of 30. The average age within Judaism is 50 years old, Catholics (49 years old), Orthodox Christians (40 years old), Buddhists (39 years old), Hindus (33 years old) and the median age of the entire U.S. population is 46 years old.
